Manchester United manager could sell full-back Matteo Darmian this summer, with Italian champions Juventus interested in a deal, according to reports from Calcio Mercato (via Manchester Evening News).
The defender, who looked totally out of the picture when Jose Mourinho arrived at Old Trafford last summer, has come back into the fold recently, starting at left-back over Luke Shaw.
The former Southampton man has fallen down the pecking order under the Portuguese, having come in for specific criticism earlier this season.
The report also claims that Mourinho could well sell Darmian for around €10m this summer, which wouldn’t be the worst return for the 27-year-old.
Since joining from Torino, the Italy international has scored once and setup another two goals in 56 appearances, making just 17 of those appearances under Mourinho.
With current right-back Dani Alves potentially off to China in the summer, the Old Lady see the United man as a potential replacement for the former Barcelona full-back.
