Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has enjoyed a solid start to life in the job he has been chasing for the majority of his career.
The former Chelsea manager had made no bones about it in the build up to being appointed Red Devils boss, the Old Trafford hot seat was one he had always wanted and, whilst his maiden season in the job has not brought all that some had hoped, there is a lot to build on.
The Portuguese began to make his mark on the squad last summer, splashing out the best part of £150m on a whole new spine, and it seems he is ready to go above and beyond that sum to continue his work this summer.
Reports emerging this Easter weekend are linking the Special One with four top targets to continue his Manchester revival.
First of all, claims in the Daily Star are suggesting that a whopping £125m swoop for Atletico Madrid pair Antoine Griezmann and ‘keeper Jan Oblak is in the pipeline, with the former a long-term target and the latter a potential replacement for David de Gea should he make a move to Real Madrid.
In addition to that, having had his future thrown up in the air over a contract dispute, Everton playmaker Ross Barkley is, according to The Mirror, also on the wish list of the Red Devils boss, with the England international most recently valued at £30m.
Last but by no means least, the Manchester Evening News are reporting that Mourinho is already planning for the departure of top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer and that another Toffee, £60m rated Romelu Lukaku, is in his sights.
