Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that young left-back Luke Shaw will not be featuring when his side host French outfit St. Etienne in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Simon Peach, the chief football writer at the Press Association, has confirmed that the former Chelsea manager will stick with his back line of Anotonio Valencia, Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling and Daley Blind.

The Portuguese will need to manage his squad carefully over the next few weeks, with a trip to Blackburn for the fifth round of the FA Cup at the weekend, the second leg of the European tie in France a week Thursday before his side walk out at Wembley for the EFL Cup final against Southampton, who don’t have a game between now and then, Sunday week.
The former Chelsea manager also confirmed that the trio of Phil Jones, Michael Carrick and Wayne Rooney will not feature through injury concerns.
