Newcastle United in talks to re-sign £8m Liverpool full-back

Newcastle United are reportedly in discussions over a deadline day move to bring back Jose Enrique to St James’ Park, according to the Daily Mail.
The Premier League side, who currently sit two points adrift of safety in the bottom three, are interested in thrashing out a short-term contract for the out-of-favour Liverpool left-back.
The 30-year-old; who is a former Spain Under-21 international, has made just three first-team appearances for the Reds this season, all coming in the FA Cup.
Enrique, who left the Magpies for Anfield in a deal worth around £8m back in August 2011, is wanted by Newcastle boss Steve McClaren to help stave off relegation for the remainder of the campaign.
