One of Newcastle’s better players in a poor start to the season, Janmaat is also starting to impress for an equally disappointing Dutch side.

Failing to qualify for Euro 2016, Janmaat was tasked with dealing with Andy King in Gareth Bale’s absence in their friendly against Wales.

If he were to perform the same for club as he did in this friendly, then Newcastle fans will be a bit more hopeful of seeing a turnaround.
