The summer signing may not have enjoyed the best of starts to life on Tyneside, but he has had a better week with his country. After helping Congo DR to an impressive 2-0 win over Nigeria, the 21-year-old netted his first international goal from 30 yards in the 2-1 victory against Gabon on Monday. Both of the matches were friendlies but the triumphs will have given them a lot of confidence heading into their upcoming African Nations Cup play-off against Central African Republic.
