Norwich City and West Ham United are both reportedly interested in bringing back Italy international Davide Santon to the Premier League, according to the Daily Mail.

The duo, who currently sit sixth and 17th in the standings respectively, are keen on signing the out-of-favour Inter Milan full-back before Monday’s transfer deadline (23:00 GMT).

The 25-year-old, who has eight international caps for his country, has made just nine league appearances for the Serie A giants this season.

Santon, who played 94 games for Premier League rivals Newcastle United between 2011 and 2015, is wanted by Hammers boss Slaven Bilic this month as Carl Jenkinson’s loan spell from Arsenal is set to be cut short due to injury.

Menawhile Canaries manager Alex Neil would like the Italian full-back to further strengthen Norwich’s defensive ranks following the arrival of January additions Ivo Pinto and Timm Klose at Carrow Road.
