While March may have got off to a bad start for Norwich City with two defeats, including one away at another team in trouble at the time, Swansea City, things certainly improved in their final two fixtures of the month.

The Canaries ended a run of three straight losses by drawing 0-0 at home to Manchester City, before they kept another clean sheet and picked up a hugely vital three points by beating West Bromwich Albion 1-0 at the Hawthorns a week later.

One of the players that made a key contribution to those two shutouts was January addition Klose, who especially impressed against Manuel Pellegrini’s side, making five interception and four blocks, so much so that he was nominated for the PFA Premier League Player of the Month award, which was eventually won by Liverpool’s Adam Lallana.
