Norwich left stunned as £6.5m international striker rejects move at last minute

France forward Sebastien Haller has reportedly rejected a move to Premier League side Norwich City, according to the Daily Mail.

The Canaries; who face fellow newly promoted side AFC Bournemouth this afternoon, were thought to be welcoming the FC Utrecht star to Carrow Road for a medical on Thursday, but he seemingly turned down their offer at the last minute.

The 21-year-old, who is a France Under-21 international, has scored an impressive 14 goals in 18 appearances in all competitions for the Eredivisie outfit this season.

Haller, who was reportedly going to cost Alex Neil’s side £6.5m, is understood to be looking to play European football this term and is now reconsidering his future elsewhere during the remainder of the January transfer window.
