Norwich City are expected to complete the £8m signing of striker Steven Naismith from Everton next month.
The Premier League side, who defeated rock-bottom Aston Villa 2-0 on Monday afternoon, will announce the signing of the Scotland international during the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old has only managed to start four league games under Toffees boss Roberto Martinez this season, despite scoring a hat-trick against defending champions Chelsea back in September.
Since arriving from Scottish giants Rangers back in July 2012; Naismith has scored 18 goals in 103 English top-flight appearances for Everton.
