Norwich City have reportedly struck a cut-price £2.5m deal to make winger Matt Jarvis’ loan spell at the club permanent as of next month.

The Canaries, who impressively defeated Manchester United 2-1 at Old Trafford last weekend, have been impressed with the West Ham United loanee so far this campaign.

The 29-year-old, who made his England international debut against Ghana back in March 2011, has scored twice in seven appearances in all competitions for Alex Neil’s side so far this season.

However Norwich’s bargain £2.5m transfer makes long reading for West Ham fans as the Hammers forked out a reported £11m on the England winger from Wolverhampton Wanderers back in 2012.
