Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Manchester United confirms job is safe, when speaking to Sky Sports.

The United head coach has been under immense scrutiny this campaign following a busy summer transfer window.

Performances this season have simply not been good enough and many felt the heavy loss to Liverpool and another poor defeat to Manchester City at Old Trafford, could have been the final straw.

But testament to Solskjaer, he is a fighter and is still working hard to try and turn the club’s fortunes around.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has been touted as a possible replacement.

The Red Devils face Watford away as the Premier league returns this weekend, and the Norwegian and his coaching staff will be desperate for all three points.

Although he insists his job is safe, if United continue to slip down the league, it surely will only be a matter of time before they look to find a replacement.
