Premier League: 5 things to look out for this weekend

With 12 games now played we are nearly over a third of the way through the 2015/16 Premier League season and the table is starting to shape up.

There have been a lot of surprise packages so far, with Leicester sitting in third place and West Ham in sixth. Whilst towards the wrong end, Chelsea have started poorly and sit in 16th.

Now the last international break of the calendar year is over, clubs can start to knuckle down and really concentrate on domestic matters.

This weekend will provide an interesting watch, and we’ve picked out five things to keep an eye on over the next few days….

5. Arsenal’s aim to go top

Arsenal are eyeing top spot this weekend

With Manchester City facing a striker crisis and coming up against a resurgent Liverpool team under Jurgen Klopp, Arsenal have the chance to position themselves at the top of the table. An away fixture to recently uninspiring West Brom will give the Gunners the perfect chance to get back to winning ways, after their 1-1 draw with North London rivals Tottenham. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlian and Hector Bellerin have outside chances of featuring at the weekend, but even without the duo, they should have enough quality to overcome a Baggies side who have lost their last two.
