Player of the Month: Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City)
The Belgian international was in sensational form during September and played a huge part in City’s three wins from three games.
Most crucially he was man-of-the-match in the derby win over Manchester United after scoring a terrific goal before assisting the second strike for Kelechi Iheanacho.
De Bruyne followed this up by scoring one and making another in the home win over AFC Bournemouth, before creating two more in the 3-1 win at Swansea City to complete a remarkable month.
Manager of the Month: Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool)
Both Manchester City and Liverpool won all their games in September, but I’ve plumped for the Reds manager as this month’s winner.
Pep Guardiola’s City did win at Old Trafford, but had two easier games to follow, whilst Klopp guided his side to a thumping 4-1 home win over champions Leicester City and an impressive 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge.
They finished off the month by hammering Hull City 5-1 at Anfield and are looking like a force to be reckoned with this season.
Goal of the Month: Jordan Henderson (Chelsea vs LIVERPOOL)
