Four Premier League clubs are reportedly set to go head-to-head in a bid to sign England international Andros Townsend.
It is understood that Aston Villa, Leicester City, Swansea City and West Brom are all interested in signing the Tottenham winger during the forthcoming January transfer window.
The 24-year-old, who has nine international caps, has made just seven appearances in all competitions for the Spurs so far this season.
But Townsend’s future at White Hart Lane has been plunged into further doubt after manager Mauricio Pochettino revealed the forward had an altercation with the club’s fitness coach.
Further media reports this morning even suggest Townsend is willing to hand in a transfer request at Tottenham to force a move away from North London in the New Year.
