Premier League clubs are on high alert after the in-demand Sam Byram rejected a new deal at Leeds United.
It is reported that the likes of Arsenal, Everton and Liverpool are all interested in the right-back’s services, who has been at Elland Road since he was 12-years-old.
Now 21; Byram has become an important first-team figure for the Championship outfit over the last few seasons, including his tally of three goals in 39 appearances last term.
However Leeds owner Massimo Cellino has now revealed his ‘hurt’ at the youngster turning down a new contract at the club, admitting he is ‘deeply offended’ by his refusal as he believes the club is ‘too small for him’.
