Saturday’s early Premier League kick-off (12:30pm) sees Tottenham host Liverpool at White Hart Lane, with the hosts keen on snatching top spot, for at least a couple of hours, at least.

Spurs, who defeated Crystal Palace 1-0 in their last league outing, will be hoping winger Erik Lamela can continue his good run of form after netting against Everton on the opening day of the season.

Meanwhile the Reds; who thrashed Burton Albion 5-0 in the EFL Cup in midweek, possess their own in-form midfielder in Philippe Coutinho, who scored a brilliant brace at Arsenal almost a fortnight ago.
