Premier League forward Lee Tomlin wants to join Leeds United before the close of the January transfer window, according to the Mirror.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe says his striker will be ‘disciplined internally’ over comments he made on social media site Twitter about his future at the club.

The 27-year-old, who started his career at Leicester City, has scored just one goal in ten appearances in all competitions for the Cherries this season.

Tomlin, who cost Bournemouth a reported £3m from Championship leaders Middlesbrough last summer, is frustrated at his lack of first-team action having failed to feature for the south coast outfit in the Premier League since November 7.

The report suggests he is keen to join Steve Evans’ Whites before the close of the transfer window on Monday (23:00 GMT).
