The race for a top four finish in the Premier League heats up another notch this weekend, as Arsenal host Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday (16:00).
The Gunners, who suffered a 2-0 defeat at White Hart Lane last weekend to the hands of arch rivals Tottenham Hotspur, trail fourth placed Manchester City by six points in sixth spot heading into the weekend.
Meanwhile The Red Devils, who were pinned back to a frustrating 1-1 draw at home to Swansea City last Sunday, lie just one point behind the top four prior to kick-off, and are also in contention to win this term’s UEFA Europa League.
For Arsene Wenger’s side, midfielder Mesut Ozil will be looking to help his team-mates bounce back from their North London derby defeat and pull themselves within two points of United, with a game in hand.
As for Jose Mourinho’s visitors, fellow midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be pushing for a start at the Emirates after being benched against Swansea last time out.
So, ahead of kick-off, here is how key men Ozil and Mkhitaryan match up so far this season in the top-flight…
