Manchester United have reportedly reignited their pursuit of Germany international forward Thomas Muller, according to Fichajes.

The Premier League giants, who were booed off inside Old Trafford on Saturday after losing 1-0 at home to Southampton, have been heavily linked with moves for the Bayern Munich star throughout previous transfer windows.

The 26-year-old, who has 68 international caps for the reigning World Cup winners, has scored an impressive 21 goals in 27 appearances in all competitions for the defending Bundesliga champions this season.

The report suggests Muller, who has been a long-term target of Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal since arriving at United back in May 2014, has been offered a contract worth a staggering £305,000-a-week to seal a switch to Old Trafford.
