Thomas Frank will begin his tenure at Tottenham Hotspur when his side face Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Super Cup, before a game against newly-promoted Burnley on the opening weekend of the new Premier League season.

The Dane left his role at Brentford to take charge of Spurs following the sacking of Ange Postecoglou, and he will hope to see his side improve on their disappointing 16th-placed finish in the top flight last term.

The Lilywhites will compete in the Champions League after winning the Europa League last season, with Frank set to manage in the competition for the first time in his career.

Spurs have already signed both Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel permanently after loan spells last season, while Japanese defender Kota Takai has also joined the club.

Now, it appears that the North London side are closing in on another summer signing.

According to Fabrizio Romano, West Ham United forward Mohammed Kudus has completed the first part of his medical ahead of a proposed move to Tottenham.

Romano claims that the 24-year-old has passed the main part of his medical tests, with the formal documents now set to be signed to finalise the deal.

Kudus joined the Hammers from Dutch side Ajax in 2023 and has since played 80 times for the East London outfit across all competitions, scoring 19 goals and registering 13 assists.

Last season the versatile forward, who can play anywhere across the frontline or in midfield – scored five goals in 32 Premier League games.

The Ghana international – who has been capped 42 times by his country – is contracted to West Ham until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, but he looks set to leave The London Stadium in the coming days.
