Stoke City entertain Watford at the Britannia Stadium aiming to extend their good recent run of form.

The Potters’ 1-0 victory at Swansea on Monday night was their third win on the spin, and Mark Hughes’ side are now unbeaten in four after a difficult start.

Their record on their own turf has not been what it once was though, with just four points collected from the opening four games.

Hughes will be boosted by the return of Jon Walters, Ryan Shawcross and Mame Diouf, who are all available.

Despite a solid start, Watford boss Quique Flores will be concerned by his side’s lack of goals.

The Hornets are the division’s lowest scorers with just six goals to date – five of which have been scored by Odion Ighalo.

However, they have only been defeated once on the road in their opening four matches; a 2-0 defeat at leaders Manchester City.

Valon Behrami is ad doubt with a calf problem, while Jose Manuel Jurado (hamstring) remains out

Defenders Joel Ekstrand and Tommie Hoban are also sidelined.
