Mauricio Pochettino has a full squad to pick from as Spurs seek to record their first points of the season at White Hart Lane this weekend.

Hugo Lloris played 90 minutes for the club’s under-21s this week and is set to return in goal. English international trio – Ryan Mason, Andros Townsend and Danny Rose – are all back from injuries and fit for selection.

Stoke made headlines this week as they added Swiss winger Xherdan Shaqiri to a forward line that also includes Ibrahim Affelay and Bojan, who will play for the u-21s on Saturday as he steps up his return to fitness.

It’s a far cry from the days of Delap, Sidibe and Pennant at the Britannia Stadium, but record-signing Shaqiri cannot play in North London because of a red card he received at his previous club Inter Milan.

Peter Odemwingie will miss the game with a hamstring strain and captain Ryan Shawcross is absent after an operation to clear up a long-standing back problem, but in more positive news for the Potters Marko Arnautovic and Marc Wilson are back in training and set to make the squad.
