Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing a £80m offer for Chile international forward Alexis Sanchez, according to the Independent.

The Ligue 1 giants, who splashed out a world-record £200m to land FC Barcelona superstar Neymar last week, have been heavily linked with luring the Arsenal star to the French capital ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.

The 28-year-old, who has 115 international caps for his country, scored 30 goals and provided 19 assists in 51 appearances in all competitions for The Gunners last season, who finished fifth in the Premier League standings.

Sanchez, who arrived at the Emirates Stadium back in July 2014 following his move from La Liga outfit Barcelona, has netted an impressive 72 times in 144 games overall for Arsene Wenger’s side, winning two FA Cups and the FA Community Shield.

However, with the Chilean also interesting Manchester City this summer, the report suggests PSG are readying a £80m bid for the Arsenal ace, and willing to offer the player up to £400,000-a-week, in a bid to beat Pep Guardiola’s side to his signature.
