It’s amazing that despite Celtic winning six titles in a row this season, Pedro Caixinha has managed to put a smile on the faces of many Rangers fans with a run of impressive results and a tendency to say the right thing.
The recent 2-0 win over Partick Thistle means the Gers are unbeaten under their new manager and have kept clean sheets in their last three games.
The attention for the club now turns to the Scottish Cup semi final against rivals Celtic, a game which could see Caixinha’s side preventing Brendan Rodger’s team from lifting a domestic treble.
The cup game is the first in two successive Old Firm derbies as Rangers host Celtic six days later in the Premiership, a game that may also go some way to deciding if Caixinha’s team have any chance of making second.
Speaking ahead of the cup semi Caixinha noted:
“The approach to the game is going to be different – it’s an Old Firm game, a knockout game, and I like the strategic side of the game so I’m looking forward to preparing for it.
“I just hope to have 11 warriors starting the game.”
Here’s how Rangers fans have reacted on social media to the manager’s latest comments:
Caixinha talks a good talk and so far appears to walk a good walk #rangersfc https://t.co/OXvMkhjgil
