Aberdeen midfielder Ryan Jack looks set to be heading to Ibrox as according to reports in the Scotsman Pedro Caixinha is ready to give the green light to a pre-contract deal being arranged.
The 25 year-old Jack is believed to have impressed the new Rangers’ manager in the sides recent clash despite being on the wrong side of a 3-0 loss as Caixinha looks to add some new signings this summer and halt the momentum rivals Celtic are currently enjoying with their run of title wins.
Jack has captained the Scotland under 21 side and is a highly thought of defensive midfielder who could offer the Rangers back four protection as Caixinha aims to build a solid foundation throughout his team.
Celtic’s recent sixth title win has rallied many Rangers fans and the club itself on the need for improvements and Jack is a player that would be affordable for a club that has to spend its money carefully.
Rangers fans have been giving their reaction to the Jack link:
@RangersCulture Let the rebuild start. A think he’s exactly the type a player we’re looking for. A know there’s plenty who’ll disagree though

@JambaWATP21 Need a defensive midfielder desperately. Aberdeen concede very little. Could be a good fit.
