Real Madrid will reportedly make a summer swoop for Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, according to the Telegraph.

The Premier League side, who defeated newly promoted Middlesbrough 1-0 at White Hart Lane on Saturday night to move up to second in the top-flight standings, are set to receive interest in the France international shot stopper come the end of the current 2016-17 campaign.

The 30-year-old, who has 85 international caps for his country, has kept 11 clean sheets in 27 appearances in all competitions for Spurs so far this season.

Lloris, who joined Tottenham back in August 2012 following his switch from Ligue 1 outfit Lyon, is wanted by the La Liga giants if boss Zinedine Zidane fails to land number one target Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea.

The report suggests that Madrid are ready to double the Frenchman’s current £100,000-a-week wages, after the ‘keeper penned a new contract until 2022 back in December.

Lloris has made 195 appearances for Mauricio Pochettino’s side overall.
