Reports – Rodriguez has already chosen his Manchester United shirt number

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has endured a mixed first season at Old Trafford. The former Chelsea boss has already picked up silverware this season, however, Thursday’s Manchester Derby showed there is still plenty of work to do.

With that in mind, the Portuguese is being linked with a number of players this summer to continue his revolution at the Theatre of Dreams and, according to reports from Don Balon, one key target has already chosen his shirt number.

The Spanish outlet claim that James Rodriguez has decided on a move to the red half of Manchester and that he will also wear the No.10 shirt, currently held by captain and club record scorer, Wayne Rooney.

Whether or not the reports are at all acurrate is up for discussion, however, given that the 25-year-old wears the same shirt at Real Madrid that would make sense.

It could also be backed up by the fact that Rooney’s future still remains very much up in the air, having hardly featured under Mourinho this season.
