Struggling Premier League champions Manchester City return to action on Saturday when they host West Ham United.

Pep Guardiola’s side have endured a dismal campaign so far, winning just two of their last ten league games.

The Citizens sit sixth in the top flight standings, ten points behind runaway leaders Liverpool at the midpoint in the season.

Guardiola and those in charge of City’s recruitment could use the January transfer window to bolster his squad ahead of the second half of the campaign, but it also appears that one of City’s most experienced players is attracting interest from elsewhere.

As per CaughtOffside, City full-back Kyle Walker has emerged as a serious target for a number of clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

The report claims that the 34-year-old has attracted interest from Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli and Al-Ittihad.

Walker joined City from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017 and has since established himself as one of the best full-backs in world football.

Walker has been criticised for his form this season

The Englishman has played more than 300 times for the club across all competitions, winning a total of 17 trophies including the Champions League and six Premier League titles.

Walker has, however, been criticised for a number of his performances this term during City’s poor run of form.

The report claims that the right-back has attracted serious interest from the three Pro League clubs, who could attempt to lure him away from Manchester with offers in the region of £10-12 million.

It remains to be seen, however, whether or not City would consider selling the England international and, if so, at what price.

Walker is contracted to The Etihad outfit until the end of next season, but it appears inreasingly likely that he could depart City prior to then.
