Manchester United cruised to a 5-0 win over Norwegian side Rosenborg in a preseason friendly on Friday.
Youngsters Shea Lacey, Jacob Devaney, Harry Amass and Ethan Williams were all on the scoresheet in Trondheim, with Joshua Zirkzee also finding the back of the net.
Next up for the Red Devils is a friendly against Spanish side Atletico Madrid, before they face Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain.
In the meantime, it has emerged that one of Man United’s most important players is on the radar of a European giant.
As per CaughtOffside, Italian side Juventus have identified Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes as one of their top transfer targets for this summer’s window.
The report claims that the Old Lady are on the hunt for a new attacking midfielder to add creativity to Luciano Spalletti’s side ahead of the new season.

Fernandes, 31, has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League in recent seasons, having joined the Red Devils from Portuguese outfit Sporting CP back in 2020.
Since then, he has scored 107 goals and registered 108 assists in 327 games in all competitions, helping United to win the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup the following year.
Despite his importance to United, Fernandes’ current contract at Old Trafford is set to expire at the end of the upcoming season, and it appears that Juventus could attempt to take advantage of the situation.
United do, however, have the option to extend his current deal by a further 12 months, and the report suggests that the Manchester outfit are making progress with the player in talks over a new contract.
The Portugal international has previously been linked with a move away from United, but it appears more likely than not that the Red Devils will keep hold of their captain beyond the end of the current window.
