Swedish centre-back Jansson has excelled in his first season with Leeds United after they loaned him from Torino in the summer and played a key role in their impressive defence during December.

The Whites picked up four wins and a draw from six league games and kept three clean sheets, with Jansson being pivotal to that – he even chipped in with a goal in the 1-1 draw with Aston Villa.

Manager of the Month: Chris Hughton (Brighton & Hove Albion)
