West Brom target Moses Simon has announced that he is quitting Gent.

According to a report in the Birmingham Mail the winger has confirmed to a Nigerian website that he will be playing elsewhere next season.

Simon has been scouted by Albion playing in the Belgian League and was also watched in international action for Nigeria against Senegal.

The 21-year-old has just completed his third season with Gent with the highlight coming in the Europa League knock-out against Tottenham Hotspur.

Tony Pulis has been highly active scouting players and is keen to have players identified by his scouting team rather than work on recommendations from agents.

Finding goals for next season is a priority with Albion’s season going into a tailspin following their impressive win over Arsenal in March.

As well as bringing in additional scorers Pulis is looking for his side to create more chances with the winger from Gent ideal for that role.
