Slaven Bilic lays out top target in West Ham meeting

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic informed the powers that be at the London Stadium that Wilfried Bony is now his top target in a meeting on Monday, according to Sky Sports.

The Hammers have been desperately chasing a forward all summer and, having landed Swansea’s Andre Ayew, the pursuit seemed to be over.

However, in the light of the winger’s four-month lay-off his Croatian manager is ready to head back into the market and bring the Man City outcast to East London.

The Ivory Coast international has 32 Premier League goals to his name, only six of those however were scored in a Sky Blue shirt, and he has found himself surplus to requirements under new manager, Pep Guardiola.

The 27-year-old made the move to Manchester from Wales for a fee of £28m and therefore would not come cheap, meaning a loan deal is the more likely option for the Irons.

Should the deal go through the striker would be the eleventh arrival in Stratford during what has been a busy summer for those in claret and blue.
