Southampton are reportedly ready to join the chase to sign highly-rated Birmingham City winger Demarai Gray.
The 19-year-old is seen to be one of the best prospects outside of the Premier League, and shot to fame with some impressive performances for Birmingham in the 2014/15 campaign, including a first-half hat-trick against Reading.
That form has continued into the current season, and a number of top-flight clubs are interested in the exciting wide man, who is understood to have a release clause of £3.75 million in the new contract he signed with the Blues during the summer.
The England Under-21 international has made 74 appearances in all competitions for City, scoring eight times.
