Graziano Pelle (Italy)
Fresh from scoring against Norwich in Saints’ last Premier League game, Pelle scored the only goal for Italy as they overcame Malta 1-0 last Thursday. The frontman followed this up by playing 73 minutes in the match against Bulgaria on Sunday, which also finished 1-0 to Italy as they finished the weekend top of the group.
A word also needs to go to James Ward-Prowse who scored and led England Under-21s to two victories in his first matches as captain.
