Tottenham Hotspur suffered their first defeat of the Premier League season as they were beaten 1-0 by Bournemouth on Saturday.

Evanilson’s early goal earned the Cherries an impressive victory in North London, against a Spurs side that had beaten Manchester City in their previous outing.

Thomas Frank’s side will hope to return to winning ways when they face fierce rivals West Ham United after the international break, but in the meantime it appears that the Lilywhites could be about to complete a marquee signing.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign striker Randal Kolo Muani from French side Paris Saint-Germain.

Romano clams that PSG have accepted an offer from Spurs as they are aware that the player himself is keen on the idea of the move to London.

Kolo Muani, 26, joined PSG from German side Eintracht Frankfurt back in 2023, and has since scored 11 goals in 54 games for the club across all competitions.

He was loaned to Italian giants Juventus in January after falling out of favour in the French capital, and the forward netted ten times in 22 games for the Old Lady.

Kolo Muani had been linked with a return to Turin, but Romano claims that he is instead on his way to North London to join Tottenham for the remainder of the current campaign.

The deal will include an option-to-buy clause, Romano says, although Spurs won’t be obliged to sign the France international permanently.

Kolo Muani’s contract with PSG is set to run until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, but it remains to be seen whether or not he will return to the Champions League holders.
