Tottenham and West Brom are both reportedly interested in taking Manchester United striker James Wilson on loan.
The Premier League rivals are waiting in the wings due to the pending £36m arrival of Anthony Martial at Old Trafford before Tuesday’s 6pm transfer deadline.
The 19-year-old, who has been called up to the England Under-21 squad for the very first time last week, scored two goals in 17 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils last season.
It is thought that over 15 clubs have registered an interest in the young forward; but Spurs and West Brom are the favourites to land Wilson on a season-long loan, although United boss Louis van Gaal may reconsider his options following the departures of Adnan Januzaj and Javier Hernandez to Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen respectively earlier today.
