Tottenham are reportedly ready to reignite their interest in England Under-21 international forward Saido Berahino next month.

The Premier League outfit, who defeated Southampton 2-0 on Saturday, are expected to make another attempt to sign the West Brom striker in the January transfer window after their failed summer pursuit.

The 22-year-old, who was called up to the England senior squad last November, has scored three league goals in 12 appearances for Tony Pulis’ Baggies so far this season.

West Brom were understood to have rejected FOUR approaches from Spurs for Berahino during pre-season, but boss Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly preparing a fresh £15m bid for the forward in the hope of adding some attacking cover for England international Harry Kane at White Hart Lane this campaign.
