Tottenham Hotspur face Italian champions AC Milan in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie on Tuesday.

The Serie A side, who beat rivals Inter to the Italian top flight title last term, have been in abysmal form of late, winning just one of their last eight domestic matches.

Antonio Conte’s side have problems too, though, with a number of key players set to miss the game at the San Siro.

Rodrigo Bentancur suffered a cruciate ligament injury against Leicester City on Saturday that will keep him out of action until next season, while Yves Bissouma is also unavailable due to injury.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is suspended for the game in Italy, which leaves Conte extremely short of midfield options for the first leg.

In the meantime, Conte could also face a battle to keep hold of one of his attackers.

As reported by ESPN, Spanish giants Real Madrid are eyeing a move for Richarlison this summer.

The Champions League holders are monitoring a number of potential targets ahead of the upcoming summer window, as they look to add at least one forward to their squad.

Richarlison is wanted by Real Madrid

This term, manager Carlo Ancelotti has been forced to rely on Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema to lead the line throughout the campaign, but the 35-year-old has already missed a number of games du to injury.

Madrid are therefore tracking Richarlison, who only joined Spurs from Everton last summer, in a deal worth £60 million.

The Brazil international played a crucial part in helping The Toffees avoid relegation last season, but he has struggled since joining Tottenham.

Having already missed a number of games due to both calf and hamstring injuries, the Brazilian has started just five league games.

He is yet to score a goal in the Premier League, but the player would likely prove difficult to lure away from London having only joined his current side a matter of months ago.

Other targets being considered by Real include Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic.

In total, Richarlison has scored 48 goals in 187 Premier League matches across spells with Everton, Spurs and Watford.
