Tottenham Hotspur defender Joe Rodon has completed a loan move to French side Rennes.

The Lilywhites announced the news on their official Twitter page, confirming that the player will move to France on an initial season-long loan deal.

Included in the deal is an option-to-buy clause, which means that Rennes can opt to make the move permanent for a fee of around £17 million at the end of the upcoming season.

Rodon is on his way to France

Rodon, 24, made just ten appearances for Spurs last term, and failed to start a single Premier League match throughout the entire campaign.

The Wales international has played a bit part role in north London ever since his move from Swansea City in 2020.

In total, the defender has made just 24 appearances for his current club.
