The 32-year-old grabbed both goals in the 2-0 second-leg play-off victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina to secure qualification to the Euros and you feel he will be pivotal for them once in France. Walters played every minute of Republic of Ireland’s qualifying campaign up until the first-leg of the play-off, where he was ruled out due to suspension, and scored five times.
