Stoke City have reportedly joined Arsenal and Chelsea in the hunt to sign French defensive midfielder Giannelli Imbula this month.
The Premier League side, who suffered a surprising 2-1 defeat at West Brom last weekend, are thought to be interested in the wantaway FC Porto star during the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old, who is a former France Under-21 international, has failed to score in 17 appearances in all competitions for the Portuguese giants this season.
Imbula, who cost Porto around €20m from Ligue 1 side Marseille only back in July, is thought to be valued around £18.5m.
