Stoke prepare last-ditch move for Croatia legend

Stoke City are reportedly preparing a late move for Croatia international Ivica Olic.

The Premier League outfit are thought to be interested in the 35-year-old’s services to wrap up their summer transfer dealings before the close of the window on September 1.

Olic, who has earned a milestone 100 international caps for his country, scored seven goals in 38 appearances in all competitions for Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg last season.

Despite the Potters’ illustrious stream of signings this summer, including Ibrahim Afellay and Xherdan Shaqiri, Stoke boss Mark Hughes is understood to still be keen on bolstering his attacking options within the forthcoming days.
