Sunderland will reportedly have to stump up £10m if they wish to sign Leicester City forward Leonardo Ulloa during the January transfer window, according to The Telegraph.

The Premier League side, who currently sit rock-bottom of the English top-flight standings after losing eight of their opening 11 league games, are ready to try and lure the Argentine ace to the Stadium of Light in the new year.

The 30-year-old, who has also played for Championship outfit Brighton and Hove Albion, has failed to score in 11 appearances in all competitions for The Foxes so far this season.

Ulloa, who arrived at the King Power Stadium from Brighton back in July 2014 for a then club-record £8m fee, has failed to start a single game under manager Claudio Ranieri so far this term.

If the Black Cats do pursue Ulloa’s services in January, Leicester will demand a £10m fee for the 2015/16 Premier League champion.
