Sunderland plot moves for Cameroon and Portugal internationals

Sunderland are reportedly interested in signing Ligue 1 stars Raphael Guerreiro and Benjamin Moukandjo.

Black Cats boss Sam Allardyce, whose side lie second from bottom in the Premier League table ahead of tonight’s game against Crystal Palace, was in attendance to watch the FC Lorient duo play in their 2-1 defeat to French defending champions Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday.

Left-back Guerreiro, 21, who has three international caps for Portugal, has scored and assisted one goal in 13 appearances in all competitions for Lorient so far this season.

Meanwhile striker Moukandjo, 27, who has featured for Cameroon on 37 occasions, has scored a sensational ten goals in 13 Ligue 1 starts this term.
