Sunderland are reportedly willing to increase their offer to £14m in a bid to sign Premier League ace Andre Ayew this month, according to the Express.
The Black Cats, who lie three points adrift of safety following their 4-1 defeat at Tottenham on Saturday, originally had an £11m opening bid rejected by Swansea City for their star winger earlier this week.
The 26-year-old, who has 67 international caps for Ghana, has scored seven and assisted three goals in 20 league appearances for the struggling Swans this season.
Ayew, who arrived at the Liberty Stadium in the summer, is regarded as one of the Premier League’s best signings this campaign after arriving on a free transfer from Ligue 1 side Marseille back in June.
