At the end of August, Swansea City’s players would’ve been high up on Santa’s good list following a fast start to the season.
But in recent months, the Swans have found it tough going and they are slowly being pulled into a relegation dogfight.
Despite his England call-up and decent performances in the middle, Jonjo Shelvey is still not quite set to receive a top present this year, ironically due to the amount of cards he’s received.
The 23-year-old was handed a four-match suspension at the start of the year and has already picked up another one-match ban this term for collecting five bookings.
