This is what Tottenham’s fearsome front three could look like come the end of January

Tottenham recorded a sixth successive Premier League victory after thumping West Brom 4-0 at White Hart Lane last weekend.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men were on a high after beating league leaders Chelsea 2-0 in their first game of 2017, and they backed that up with another impressive display against Tony Pulis’ men on Saturday.

A hat-trick from Harry Kane and an own goal from Gareth McAuley sent Spurs on their way to second place in the table, although they remain seven points behind Antonio Conte’s Chelsea after they dispatched champions Leicester 3-0 on Saturday evening.

Pochettino’s men go to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City on Saturday in what will be a serious test of their title credentials, and coming through that with another three points would put the pressure on Conte’s Blues, given that they play Hull the day after.

Nonetheless, many still feel that Tottenham will come up short again this season, like last time out, unless Pochettino adds to his squad in the winter window this month.

And, given that they have been linked with several players already, here is what their FRONT THREE could look like come February 1…

Dele Alli

Dele Alli’s recent form has been nothing short of sensational.

The England international has scored seven goals in his last five Premier League matches and, although he didn’t net against West Brom last weekend, his brilliant lobbed pass provided the assist for Harry Kane’s third against the Baggies.

The 20-year-old is full of confidence and is clearly enjoying his developing partnership with Kane – Alli has levelled last season’s ten Premier League goals already this time around.

Considering how good Alli was in his debut campaign in the top-flight, for him to have already equalled his goal-scoring tally is a remarkable effort, so expect plenty more from the Englishman in the second half of the campaign.

Like Alli, Spurs striker Harry Kane is in excellent form, and those two, amongst others, are a chief reason why Pochettino’s men are up to second and have won their last six league games.

The England forward has netted six goals in his last four Premier League matches, including a hat-trick in the 4-0 demolition of West Brom last weekend.

His tally of 13 Premier League goals is only one behind the top-scorers Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Diego Costa, and Alexis Sanchez, but Kane’s average of 105 minutes per goal is the best rate of any player to have netted ten or more goals in the league this season.

The 23-year-old is looking like the forward that helped fire Spurs to third place in the league last season, and given that he signed a new deal at the club at the end of last year, he’s there to stay and lead the line for many years to come.

Sandro Ramirez

Spurs have been linked to several forwards in a bid to ease the workload and expectancy on Kane’s shoulders, and one man that could partner him upfront is Malaga’s Sandro Ramirez.

The 21-year-old forward began his career at Spanish giants Barcelona before moving to Malaga last year, and has since gone on to showcase his ability in La Liga.

The Spaniard has scored seven goals in 17 league appearances this season, including four goals in his last eight appearances for Marcelo Romero’s men.

And, given that Malaga are 13th in La Liga and not making great progress, it wouldn’t be at all surprising if Ramirez, who is eighth in the league’s goal-scoring charts, attracts interest this month.

Back in November, Spurs were once again linked with the young forward, and Pochettino’s desire to bring in another striker, especially given Vincent Janssen’s struggles thus far, could see the Malaga man move to the Premier League this month.
