With four game weeks of the Fantasy season out the way, it’s now vital that your team kicks on and starts climbing the rankings.

Often overlooked by goal-hungry managers is the goalkeeper position, but these shot-stoppers can earn your team valuable points with clean sheets and saves.

Looking ahead to this round of fixtures, many of the big teams are facing off against each other, which leaves space for some wildcard picks.

Here’s three goalkeeper picks we recommend…

Adrian (Liverpool) – £4.5m

Call us mad, but we think this could be a shrewd move this week. Liverpool’s number one Alisson will definitely miss the weekend game at Everton which makes Adrian a guaranteed starter. Although the Reds shipped seven goals last time out, surely they’ll sure up their defence this weekend?

Edouard Mendy (Chelsea) – £5m

Despite Chelsea spending over £70million on goalkeeper Kepa, manager Frank Lampard was forced to go back into the transfer market to sign Edouard Mendy. The Frenchman will be a regular starter for Chelsea and you back them to beat Southampton at home. It’s just wether or not the Blues can keep a clean sheet in the process…

Illan Meslier (Leeds United) – £4.5m

Leeds United have been a revelation so far this season and don’t look to be stopping under inspirational coach Marcelo Bielsa. Despite the Whites going up against Wolverhampton Wanderers, we believe now is the perfect time to include Leeds stopper Illan Meslier, with three winnable games coming up after this weekend.
