Three players Chelsea could sell this summer as they look to improve their squad next season

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard will know he has to improve his defence.

Cheslea boss Frank Lampard could be willing to offload three players this summer as he continues to rebuild his squad.

The Blues have already struck agreements to sign uber-talented due Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner who are sure to improve their squad.

With these players already joning a very young and hungry squad, Lampard could be forced to let one or two names leave the West London club.

Here we predict the three most likely to depart.

Willian

The first on the list is almost certainly the player Lampard will want to lose the least. Willian has been such a consistent performer for the Blues throughout his time with the club. And despite the rumours of his departure and not wanting to sign a new contract, the Brazilian is still starting most games for Chelsea and scoring goals.

Pedro

Pedro’s time at Chelsea could be coming to an end this summer, especially with the new arrivals playing in the attacking roles. The ex-Barcelona winger has been a steady performer for Chelsea and has popped up with the odd vital goal. But with Lampard preferring to play youth, it seems that his Chelsea days are numbered.

Michy Batshuayi

The Belgium international is sure to be disappointed with his time in a Chelsea shirt. At times the striker shows such promise, but in other games he seems to fall well below the mark of a top-level striker. Unfortunately for the 26-year-old he finds himself behind both Olivier Giroud and Tammy Abraham in the pecking order.
